PlaceMatters Provides Case Study for PAS Memo
PlaceMatters provided a case study for a Planning Advisory Services (PAS) Memo on the Wichita Walkshops we held in early December using AnyWare Polling. The memo focused on our use of AnyWare Polling as an Audience Response System (ARS), highlighting AnyWare's ability to synthesize brainstorming results and automatically create polls from lists of ideas. PlaceMatters Staff Author Chapter on Land Use and Climate Change
Jocelyn Hittle and Ken Snyder co-authored a chapter on the links between land use and climate change. The chapter, "Country in Overdrive--Land Use, Transportation and Climate in the West," appears in How the West Was Warmed, a new book from Fulcrum Press, edited by Beth Conover.
The chapter discussed the connections between land use and climate and steps that Western communities have taken to address climate via land use and transportation plans.
