In March of 1999, the
second conference was held in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It focused on
presentations from tools providers who had made significant
advancements since Chattanooga (notably the Environmental Simulation
Center and ESRI with its new Model Builder program). Conference
attendees also worked to develop ideas for applying tools to Mesa del
Sol, a 13,000 acre master planned community designed to promote
sustainable development principles, and developing a strategy for
further networking and promotion of tools development and application
efforts. The next conference
TCDDM III was held in 2000.
